[There's an indulgent smile on his lips as he watches his husband sleep. He's so glad he gets to see this cute side of Shouto- he's probably the only one. Izuku chuckles softly, and kisses Shouto's cheek before ducking back into the covers and pressing his face against Shouto's chest.

He might be the morning person out of the two, but he likes it. The time between him and Shouto waking him lets him appreciate the view.]

[ Nose scrunching when he feels the kiss to his cheek, Shouto shifts so that he can get both arms around Izuku, stirring just that bit with all the movement and words spoken to him. He's comfortable, and that means that it's not too hot or too cold in the covers, and there's a familiar weight pressed close to him.

Which is why he's not necessarily pleased to be waking up, now. He curls up, tucking his face into his hair and sighing deeply. ] 'zuku.

[He smiles against Shouto's chest. Oops, he woke him up- he's not actually that displeased about it.]

Good morning, Shoucchan. Sorry if I woke you.

[He's not that sorry.]

[ Grumbling a little, he tries to nuzzle his nose in closer. ]

Liar. [ His words are still a bit of a sleepy slur, but Shouto is pretty sure Izuku can catch that one. ... still, he relents. ] Morning.

[At least Izuku won't move from this particular position, comfortably warm in his husband's arms.]

You're right.

[ With a throaty, quiet laugh, Shouto shifts where he is. It's not much, but it's definitely enough for him to half roll over, somewhat draping over Izuku. Even mostly asleep still, he knows that he could move him if he wanted to.

He doesn't care. He's laying on his husband anyways. It's punishment.

(""punishment"") ]

[Izuku could absolutely just pick up Shouto if he wanted to get up. But he doesn't, pretty content to just be "punished" for waking him up.

Yes, that's exactly why he's wrapping his arms around Shouto's shoulders and not moving.]

[ More than once, he's been picked up and just accepted it. More than once, that's been how he's gotten him out of bed in the first place. Shouto is fine with it at this point in their lives.

Right now, though, he just lets out a satisfied sigh at the feeling of his arms around his shoulders. He could probably go back to sleep.

He doesn't. ] Too early. [ You literally got to sleep in compared to normal??? ]

[One of his hands starts brushing through Shouto's hair.]

It's ten. We're usually out the door by seven. There's no way it's too early.

We're on vacation. [ Oh - whatever half-assed attempt he might have made at shifting is abandoned as Izuku pets him. Shouto melts down onto him, radiating warmth contentedly. ]

Ten's too early for vacations.

Ten is a completely reasonable time for a vacation.

[Despite saying that, he clearly has no intentions to get up anytime soon.]

If you had it your way, you'd sleep until noon.

[ There's a very long beat of silence, like he's thinking about that.

And then he hums. ]

Yes.

[He laughs quietly, still stroking through Shouto's hair as he closes his eyes.]

Breakfast is passing us by.

Brunch. [ He turns his head just enough to yawn without getting a mouthful of hair, his jaw popping with the force of it. ]

Late brunch.

[He laughs. Cute...]

We're quickly approaching lunch.

Do you actually want to get up.

[ It's not really posed as a question, although he's suspicious as he wakes up a little more. ]

I'm getting hungry.

[So yes, let's wake up and get something to eat and then come right back to bed.]

[ Heaving some great sigh, like moving is a chore - it is when you're still asleep for a half hour after you wake up - Shouto makes sure his arms are secure around him.

And then he rolls over with him, so that Izuku is on top of his chest. ]

[Ah, the great struggle of a morning person and somebody who is emphatically not.

He lets himself get rolled over, and his expression can only be described as fond.]

Is that a no?

This is progress. [ Because it means Izuku can get up, which will lead to him... eventually getting up. Eventually.

He has to follow after him, after all, because food does sound appealing now that he's less dead to the world. ]

[He kisses Shouto's cheek before rolling out of their cocoon and padding over to the bathroom.]

[ His face scrunches, but he lays there while he escapes off to the bathroom. For a bit he just looks after him, bedhead and all, arms flopped onto the bed as he takes up more room than necessary.

Husband. That's his husband walking away from him to get dressed. ]

[He perks up once he's noticed Shouto's looking over at him. Still he can't say that much with a toothbrush in his mouth. He settles on giving the best (still ridiculous) smile he can, accompanied with a wave.]

[ Cute... cute but ridiculous. He snorts but lifts a hand off the bed in mimicry of a wave. If he gets to wake up every day for the rest of his life to this kind of thing, maybe mornings aren't so bad.

Dating made mornings easier. Marriage is a whole new thing that he's looking forward to. ]

[The smile shrinks down to fond, but he has to actually finish brushing his teeth, so he turns away to deal with that.]

We should shower before we go anywhere.

[He'll pull back the curtain and step inside.]
