We're on vacation. [ Oh - whatever half-assed attempt he might have made at shifting is abandoned as Izuku pets him. Shouto melts down onto him, radiating warmth contentedly. ]
[ Heaving some great sigh, like moving is a chore - it is when you're still asleep for a half hour after you wake up - Shouto makes sure his arms are secure around him.
And then he rolls over with him, so that Izuku is on top of his chest. ]
[ His face scrunches, but he lays there while he escapes off to the bathroom. For a bit he just looks after him, bedhead and all, arms flopped onto the bed as he takes up more room than necessary.
Husband. That's his husband walking away from him to get dressed. ]
[He perks up once he's noticed Shouto's looking over at him. Still he can't say that much with a toothbrush in his mouth. He settles on giving the best (still ridiculous) smile he can, accompanied with a wave.]
[ Cute... cute but ridiculous. He snorts but lifts a hand off the bed in mimicry of a wave. If he gets to wake up every day for the rest of his life to this kind of thing, maybe mornings aren't so bad.
Dating made mornings easier. Marriage is a whole new thing that he's looking forward to. ]
[ Slowly, finally, sitting up when he turns to finish brushing his teeth - which is also nice to look at, for a different reason - Shouto tries to comb his fingers through the mess that is his bedhead.
But he looks up at him when he hears his voice, blinking with more clarity now.
And then he hefts himself out of bed, stretching his arms above his head as he goes. ]
[ As he comes in to grab his own toothbrush, Shouto leans over and presses a kiss to the curve of his shoulder. He had to learn what it meant to be affectionate later in life than most people - or, more precisely, learn that it was something you could be - but once he did...
He gave it his all, with Izuku. Now he has many more reasons to do it, years of dating culminating in this. ]
[The kiss makes him shiver, but he's still fussing with the faucets.
Once Shouto's brushing his teeth, Izuku's kissing the nape of his neck. Affection comes more easily to him, he's no stranger to it, considering his upbringing. And he's glad for it, both of them trying this, learning just how well they click together as a team, as partners on the job and simply in life.]
[ Toothbrush in his mouth, Shouto tilts his head forward and to the side so that Izuku has more room if he wants it. It's nice, having this. He's happy. The happiest he'a been since he was a kid, none the wiser for what his future had in store for him. So now that he's had this, it's so easy to give it back, and even to initiate it.
Although it's a little unfair that he's getting kisses when he can't give them back. Also, conversatiins are harder to hold, so all he does is hum, low and aoft at the back of his throat in answer, his left side warming up. ]
[He leaves some gentle kisses across the plane of Shouto's back, and steps right behind Shouto, wrapping his arms around his husband's (his husband) waist.]
[ The additional kisses and contact warms him further, to the degree that it's even obvious to him. It takes him a moment to do anything beyond set his free hand around one of his wrists, though, before he's finishing up. ]
[ Running his fingertips up from his wrist to his hand, feeling his knuckles and the lines of familiar scars, Shouto basks a little in this - something he never thought he'd get to have. It didn't even register him. His parents had a loveless marriage, and he was a product of that.
Now, he just marvels in the fact that Izuku is here, has been here for years. ]
I think that's probably the only way to fix my hair.

Ten's too early for vacations.

[Despite saying that, he clearly has no intentions to get up anytime soon.]

[So yes, let's wake up and get something to eat and then come right back to bed.]

He lets himself get rolled over, and his expression can only be described as fond.]
Is that a no?

He has to follow after him, after all, because food does sound appealing now that he's less dead to the world. ]

Since you asked so nicely.

He's glad he gets to see it.]
Of course, Shoucchan.
[He starts fussing with the water temperature- not that'll matter much once Shouto's in with him.]

Izuku's perfectly content to settle into it for another few moments, before remembering what he set out to do in the first place]
Let's shower.
