[It doesn't take them long before they're in the warm spray of water. Izuku's poured some shampoo into his hands after they've been in there a few minutes.]

'm getting there. [ He can hold conversations, which is a huge improvement from when they have to get out the door at seven. The added hours of sleep, with Izuku's comforting presence, have done wonders for his consciousness. ]
[This isn't a routine they usually have time for, but it's nice. Not being in a rush, not needing to be anywhere. The whole day is theirs to do whatever they want with.]
[ Lifting his head up enough to nose at him, Shouto swoops some of Izuku's bangs off his forehead. ]
I don't know how you do it. [ He kisses his forehead now that he can see it, keeping his hand in his hair. He loves that he can bask in this, even with how unusual it is. ] Guess that's why you're sunshine.
[He smiles at the kiss and leans up to steal a proper one from Shouto.]
If I can help you then I'm glad to. Even if it's just with waking up. [Even if he has no idea how he manages to wake Shouto up when he's so dead to the world for so long.]
[ The kiss makes something warm pool in his stomach, and Shouto almost follows after him. But he manages to stop, dropping his hand down to thumb along the pulse in his neck. ]
You make it a lot easier to wake up. [ Which means every single day from now on will be easier. ]
I'm happy. [To help. To be married. About everything in their lives right now.] My life is much better with you in it, Shouto. Let's wake up together from now on.
[ If Shouto could, he would bottle up all of Izuku's smiles. How can one person look like they're a sunbeam incarnate?
He squints his eye shut to avoid getting shampoo in it, but doesn't make any attempt to move away from Izuku. Not when he can stand right there, close and content. ]
My life's been better ever since I met you. I didn't think it would keep getting better, but it has. So I think I like the sound of that.
