IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD

The Rapture has occurred, and those select few who have been saved have already ascended. You now remain abandoned, awaiting the the inevitable destruction of the rest of the world. Will it end in fire, or will it end in ice--or perhaps an inexplicable zombie infestation? Who knows, anything is possible, the only thing that is certain is that you only have so much time left.

What will you do?

"ALWAYS, MOTHERFUCKER."

Gamzee took his time approaching the other troll, club resting on his shoulder. "The ringmaster needs to be there to run his carnival."

He doesn't attack. There was no need for that just yet. Not when he had other ideas in mind. There would be enough red here without him having to spill Karkat's to start it off.

"WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE MY MOTHERFUCKIN' HERALD?"

Karkat leaned back a bit, trying to be casual about keeping some distance between them. Gamzee was bad enough to be around when he was on the slime, but this new sober troll set his teeth on edge. And what was all this about being a herald? Karkat was never much of a believer in anything, and with the world about to end it seemed pointless to be looking for a higher power now. But maybe it was worth finding religion if it meant he got to keep his blood where it belonged for a little bit longer.

He also shared the grim (but comforting!) thought that at least he wasn't the only punchline-blooded motherfucker running loose on this planet.

"Wh... what's a herald supposed to do? I mean, not that it'd be much of a carnival with everyone running around like spooked cluckbeasts."

"That's where you're wrong, motherfucker." He gestures about, club and all, that crazed grin remaining in place. "ALL OF THIS IS MY MOTHERFUCKIN' CARNIVAL. And the opening act has just gotten started."

Gamzee watches Karkat as he continues to back up. He keeps his own act going for a few moments more before he's disappeared in a blur of motion only to reappear behind the other troll. "WHERE YOU GOIN', MY BROTHER?"
