IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD

The Rapture has occurred, and those select few who have been saved have already ascended. You now remain abandoned, awaiting the the inevitable destruction of the rest of the world. Will it end in fire, or will it end in ice--or perhaps an inexplicable zombie infestation? Who knows, anything is possible, the only thing that is certain is that you only have so much time left.

What will you do?

Karkat just sort of stood awkwardly as Nepeta hugged him, arms hanging uselessly at his sides. He'd never been very good at this. Just before she pulled away, he gave her a lame pat on the shoulder.

"Yeah, Trollian's down all over. I've seen people, but no one we know." His frown deepens. "And yeah, most of them weren't alive."

Not good news, but at the very least he hadn't brought news of more death amongst their friends either. Every little bit of good news counted and she would be sure to focus on that instead of rest. As long as they were alive, they could work towards making things better.

She straightened herself up, feeling significantly better and more confident now that she knew that at least one of her friends was okay.

"Where were you headed? I think Equius, Friska and Terezi's hives aren't too far furrom here."

"I don't know."

Karkat indicates ahead of them, unsurprisingly headed more toward the forested area than any highblood cliffs.

"That way, I guess. You haven't seen anyone?"
