[And boy is Luki ever successful. Rise yelps and flails for a little, trying her best to maintain her balance before she falls backwards. Good thing they are on the sand otherwise that would have hurt]
[Well this was a pretty successful counter-ambush. You're so terrible at this, bigsisRise. Once she's knocked over, Luki happily seats herself on Rise's stomach, legs folded back against her side. She offers her sis a biiiiiiiiiig, triumphant smile.]

Yea I know what you mean. I don't think I'll really ever be able to look at history or even just geography the same again. Did you know that landmarks are supposedly different parts of their body? That's why some of them have the permanent ahoge thingy.
My previous partner, Matthew Williams was one of the countries. Canada to be specific. I learned a lot about them from him, and China who use to room with us too before he got a partner.

[it takes a bit for Rise to stifle her giggles but she manages and then just stretches out, enjoying the sun] So much! So, so much. We've never done something like this before!

[It's not like most people in Death City don't already know, so Winry doesn't particularly mind telling people about it.]
Yuuri Shibuya, myself, and two others who aren't here anymore wound up in a different time period while here for a while. We were stuck there for about three months before we were able to come back is the short of it.
[She gives Winry an odd look; she almost doesn't want to believe her, but at this point, she's had enough weird shit tossed at her that anything is starting to be plausible. Doesn't mean she has to like it though.]

[Winry shook her head. I apprenticed under a man by the name of Garfiel while I was in Rush Valley. He preferred the company of men and was rather...flamboyant to say the least. I don't find it strange at all.
[and then she opened her mouth to say more, but closed it a little. She liked Roy, and she was getting more comfortable with him as of late. Now here they were discussing this. She didn't really have anyone else she felt she could talk to it about...perhaps Greed, but here she was presented with a perfect opportunity.]
And. Well. I've sorta been wondering if I'm not the same lately.
I can understand that. It's rare that we get days like this lately.
Me? [He blinks then smiles.] Just working for the Watch and helping with Weapon Transformation. [Yuuri relaxes back and glances out at everyone running around on the beach ahead.] I've been thinking about heading out and trying to get stronger lately though.

[Winry wasn't surprised that she knew. Most everyone who had been around then did, and if she hadn't, she was sure Yuuri would have told her]
Yea, that's me. Along with Miranda and Kanda, but they were sent home a bit ago. [Something that still made her a little down at times, but she had come to terms with it.]
Yuuri's talked to me about it, but not in a lot of great detail. [She smiles sympathetically.] It's hard to imagine such a thing. I'm sorry to hear about the other two, though.
Rise & Nanako
[so cute Nanako] That's quite a job you have ahead of you! But I'm sure you can do it! I'll help. Where do you want me to work, boss?
Rise & Ahiru
[Rise settled down next to Ahiru, looking out at the sea as well] This place is really so beautiful. I'm so happy we came out here.
[her gaze shifts to Ahiru, the smallest hint of concern in her eyes] How have you been, Ahiru?
Rise & Luki
[And boy is Luki ever successful. Rise yelps and flails for a little, trying her best to maintain her balance before she falls backwards. Good thing they are on the sand otherwise that would have hurt]
Oof!!

A cat? Do you mean Cheshire then? Or Blair? [both of them seemed to have a habit of doing that, and at Noa's joke she grinned.]
It wouldn't hurt~ take the advantage of surprise!

Yea! [she turns and indicates that he follow her] There's this small stand a little farther up that is letting Shibusen people borrow them for free.

So, you're telling me you traveled through time?
[She lets out a little huff of bitter laughter.]
Nothing here is normal, is it?

Winry & Aradia
Uh. That's a slightly more complicated question than it should be, but in full about eight months.

[Winry all but preened and she nodded] It was pretty fun though! It's been nice to just take a moment of respite and not have to worry about anything.
So what have you been up to so far?

India. That is in South Asia right? South of China? [she was still a little fuzzy on her geography of this world]
