[Winry all but preened and she nodded] It was pretty fun though! It's been nice to just take a moment of respite and not have to worry about anything.

So what have you been up to so far?

I can understand that. It's rare that we get days like this lately.

Me? [He blinks then smiles.] Just working for the Watch and helping with Weapon Transformation. [Yuuri relaxes back and glances out at everyone running around on the beach ahead.] I've been thinking about heading out and trying to get stronger lately though.

Out of Death City. I want to start going on missions so that I can get stronger.[it doesnt need to be said that he's doing it to protect everyone in the city.]

[His expression softens somewhat, as he glances over to regard Winry. She's someone he cares deeply for, and he wants nothing more than for her to be happy.]

Have you been able to find someone to partner with?

Not yet. To be honest I think I've been giving the partner searching a break for now. Before I was so obsessed with finding a partner I think I got ahead of myself and just ended up harming myself in an attempt to force a resonation, instead of just letting it come naturally. I really do want to find one, but I guess it's just one of those things you have to let happen, right?

Right! [There's a nod accompanying his words.] I'm sure that you'll find one soon enough, and if you ever feel like heading out on a mission, I'd be more than happy to come along with you.

...I think I'd like that. This was all really nice [she indicated] the beach] and I was actually thinking of going out myself for a while before it. Might still do that but just getting out of Death City every once in a while would be nice.

I'd like that a lot as well. [A smile, then he glances over to the beach when it's indicated.]

You were? [His attention drifts back over to her.] I'm not sure if it's because we spent so much time in the future, but I find it hard just staying around in the city when I know that I could be out there and helping others. Back home, I'd be heading out without a second thought, and I'd like to think that I managed to do some good because of it.

[While he won't admit it, it's obvious that he misses it.]
