Yea I know what you mean. I don't think I'll really ever be able to look at history or even just geography the same again. Did you know that landmarks are supposedly different parts of their body? That's why some of them have the permanent ahoge thingy.

My previous partner, Matthew Williams was one of the countries. Canada to be specific. I learned a lot about them from him, and China who use to room with us too before he got a partner.

I think I've heard of him before. [Nods slightly. He knew a little more then he would let on, but now wasn't the time.]

He must have been a great guy.

He was. [her expression becomes wistful] Thought he was crazy when I first met him, what with the whole country thing. He's was real quiet. Kind of shy. But he really pulled through when you needed him and had a good head on his shoulders.

[she nodded, looking out the ocean for a while, considering. Should she tell Souji? It didn't really seem particularly relevant but...it was important to her, and Souji was one of her best friends, if not her best friend. It seemed a little dishonest to keep it from him]

He was...to be honest, Senpai I. I kinda felt like he was more than just my partner.

...Maybe he'll come back. That happens here, doesn't it? Even without his memories, it means he'll still be here.

It's very possible! I'm hoping maybe one day. I put off looking for a partner for the longest time half expecting him to come back the next day.

[Rise's not entirely sure what she would do if he returned without his memories. Would she continue to pursue him? Or let it go. She's not sure but Souji is right---either way it would at least be nice to see him again.]

It's okay to move on without moving on. Just because he's gone now doesn't mean you'll ever forget about him. He'd probably want you to live your life, right?

Yea, he would. And I would want him to do the say. I guess it's still just a little too soon for me but day by day it gets easier.
