It used to be a hole in the ground. [ Miyuki's snark comes easy as he leads him along, glancing back over his shoulder to make sure that he doesn't bump into anything. For the most part, this isn't really too out of the way. If it was, then he wouldn't have found Eijun that day - or, that's what he tells himself. Even with the mark on his chest that matches the one on Eijun's, he's reluctant to believe this whole soulmate thing.

After all, that means that there's someone out there - in this case, Eijun - that's saddled with him. He doesn't want that to happen to someone else, because he can't say he likes himself very much, but another part of him, one that he buries deep, likes it. At least a little bit. (It's the lonely part of him that he covers with his shitty grin and mocking laughs and hidden self-loathing. It likes the idea of there being someone that'll make him a little less lonely.)

But, right now, he's going to at least play the part. After all, he fucked up so badly that it resulted in someone else hurting, and that's... Miyuki might act like he doesn't have a heart, sometimes, because it's easier, but he still has one. And the guilt had been palpable.

So here he is, trying to make amends, and feeling something like a hot vice squeezing in his chest as he takes in Eijun's renewed glow. Even faint, it's a relief to see it, and he laughs a little at his pout.

You probably won't recognize it, to be honest.
