[ haruichi watches him shake himself out with muted fascination--it's not the first time he's seen furuya pull on his magic, but it's always neat to watch. his transformation process is a lot different than aniki's, than the one he needs to start learning how to do soon, and he can't help but smile back at him, his tone a little wry. ] I wish I could grow a fur coat that quickly.

[ spending time with furuya has become a staple of haruichi's life: he's comfortable with him, friends with him, a rare thing for the little witch who was always bullied and teased. his constant companion and one of his closest friends, haruichi appreciates furuya for everything he is, growing fur coats or not. and that's why he reaches to take his hand, his small fingers curling into the larger ones immediately as he threads their fingers together.

he smiles up at him, all warmth and shining eyes. ] Lead the way, Furuya-kun.

[ Fingers flexing, until Haruichi takes his hand, Furuya just shrugs up his shoulders a little sheepishly. He knows that Haruichi has been working on studying the same shifting magic his brother has perfected - much to many werewolves' chagrin - and, truthfully, he's looking forward to it. Whatever form he winds up taking will be cuter than anything that he's seen, and fluffy to boot. ] It's not so bad here, but outside of Christmas Town...

[ It's hot, and he knows that he's very privy to that fact. He likes the cool floor of the Kominato workshop, even if he rests his head on Haruichi's feet while he works. His favorite thing, though is this - getting to hold his hand. He rubs his thumb over his knuckle before ducking his head in a nod.

At least the way his smiles come nowadays isn't as hesitant as it used to be, either. ] We can get you something warmer at home, if you want.
