[Five years, six months and eighteen days. A long time, and yet to actually believe it was over was difficult. Rise was trying hard not to think too much on it. She was ashamed to admit that she had been dreading this day for a long time, despite how she continued to work towards it--she had simply met too many people she had grown close to for it to be considered a happy occasion for her.

Life was life, it continued, and now it was time for all of them to return home. She should at least try to content herself with the fact that she had met them all--that she had met Matt.

Even if she would never see him again.

Rise closed her eyes as the countdown began, unsure of what to expect. When it reached one she felt a strange, uncomfortable sensation in her stomach that went as soon as it had come. Her eyes shot open and she nearly tumbled to the ground but caught herself before she did. She was now in what looked like a very cozy room. Definitely not the Kishin Chamber, but definitely no place she knew.

Stranger yet was Matt was by her side. She blinked a bit--what was going on?]

[He rose up slightly from his spot on the bed and brought a large sleeve covered hand to his face as if to hide everything but his eyes.]

Not at all, mon petite.

[Now, Rise would know what he had in mind tonight.]

[oh now that was cheating.]

That's good. [she grabs the ends of those sleeves, tugging them down to uncover his face] I wouldn't be a very good province if I couldn't keep my country happy

[she smiles and leans up, pressing her lips against his, still holding those oversized sleeves of his, as if she expects him to cover his face again]

[As she leans up he quickly wraps his sleeved arms around her waist and pulls her down to the bed with him.] Nothing about you could ever make me unhappy.

[He is good and underneath her now, laid out like a delicate doll.]

[She laughs as she goes down with him, and she holds herself up above him, placing her hands on either side of his head. Her eyes crinkle a little as she just looks down at him, he really does look so pretty in that kimono. The light colors of the floral kimono compliment his hair and there's just something different about him today, something almost radiant. Maybe it's because he's a country again, maybe it's something else he's done to himself, or maybe it's just because she's so damn happy]

[She keeps herself propped up on her knees, leaning over him, and her hands gently cup his face Her forehead went to his, strands of red hair tickling his face, and she gave him another kiss]

I love you, Matty [and chaste kiss again]

So much.

[His hands raise up to lazily drape over her waist.]

I love you, too.

[Leans up to return the kiss again.]

[She smiles into the kiss, and draws this one out a bit longer. One of her hands goes up from his cheek, into his hair to pull out the clips in his hair, so she could run her fingers through it, as always, so surprised by how soft and silky it felt in her hand]

[Shifts a little under her and plants his hands on her hips a moment before gliding them up her body and under her shirt.]

[His hands on her make her feel so good, and she let's out a content sigh at that. She breaks the kiss, and leans up just a tad to place one right on his forehead, and nuzzle into his hair]
