[Five years, six months and eighteen days. A long time, and yet to actually believe it was over was difficult. Rise was trying hard not to think too much on it. She was ashamed to admit that she had been dreading this day for a long time, despite how she continued to work towards it--she had simply met too many people she had grown close to for it to be considered a happy occasion for her.

Life was life, it continued, and now it was time for all of them to return home. She should at least try to content herself with the fact that she had met them all--that she had met Matt.

Even if she would never see him again.

Rise closed her eyes as the countdown began, unsure of what to expect. When it reached one she felt a strange, uncomfortable sensation in her stomach that went as soon as it had come. Her eyes shot open and she nearly tumbled to the ground but caught herself before she did. She was now in what looked like a very cozy room. Definitely not the Kishin Chamber, but definitely no place she knew.

Stranger yet was Matt was by her side. She blinked a bit--what was going on?]

[Realizing this he is quickly giving her his coat. He can deal with the cold far better anyways. The coat is more for novelty.]

About 12-13 hours. It's a long flight, private jet or not.

[She smiles at that, the seriousness slipping from her for a moment, and she pulls the coat close around her. It's big on her, but warm]

Twelve hours? [well there really isn't much that can be done about that]

Going back to Inaba after all this is strange. I hope I'm right [before all this Rise had been very ready to never go anywhere near Inaba--maybe even Japan--it'd hurt to much, but...]

[Pauses at that and looks at her. Her apprehension is something he can feel.]

If you'd rather stay here while I go find out what this is...

[shakes head fervantly]

I want to go. I think it might be--if I don't the suspense will kill me. But I'm sure it's him--Souji.

[...Yeah. Yeah, that's what it was. He could place it now. It was Souji. She could probably feel the realization clicking into place in his head.

He nods and continues towards the car. ]

If it really is him, then he's going to be severely confused and lost. I wish I had a was of getting into contact with him.

[that was going to take some getting use to. She and Matt had always been remarkably aware of each others feelings but this was taking it to an entirely new level.]

Y-yea. They didn't have their cellphones from home, even if she did have Kanzeon in this world she couldn't be use outside the TV World. Twelve hours would be a long time, but she knew he would probably do what he could to say put. After all, if they could feel him, he could probably feel them.]

But he's Souji. He'll be okay. But if he's here--will all of us be here?

[Matt is kind of counting on the fact that Souji could feel them. While he walks he's projecting, or at least he's hoping he's projecting, some kind of message to him.

Stay where you are, we're coming.]

...[That catches him off guard.] I- I don't know.

[It's surprising, but not necessarily unfamiliar. After all, Rise did this with Kanzeon years and years ago. And, after a moment concentrating on it--

We'll be at the inn.

--and it's to both of them, so he entrusts Rise to leading them in the right direction.]

[she starts a bit at that, but then is grinning broadly and she closes her eyes to concentrate and send a thought his way]

We're in Canada, but we're already headed your way!

[she knows she should be concerned, worried, thinking about everyone else but for now she's just ecstatic]

[He hears that, and he hears what Rise sends back his way, so he smiles at her. One thing that does worry him is the fact that Souji said 'we'll' not 'I'll' be at the inn. Someone else was with him.

Yosuke, perhaps? That was the logical conclusion.

Matt stopped once they reached his car. Nothing fancy, something that got him from point A to point B. He dug in his pockets for his keys when he stopped cold.]

[He left them on the kitchen counter.] Dammit. [Whirls back around and runs back into the house.]

[she blinks at Matt suddenly turning around and then...actually begins to laugh. Did he seriously--?

She'll just wait here, Matt. And probably still be giggling a little when you return]

[grumblekfjlfjdlf fml why is the world laughing at me.]

[He'll come back a few moments later with the keys in hand. CHIRPCHIRP goes the locks and its off to the airport.]
