Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting. 16, Apocalypse ⤥ The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left. 17, Sabotage ⤥ It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute? 18, Big damn hero ⤥ You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you. 19, Fight club ⤥ You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got. 20, Threaten ⤥ You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving. 2 ⤥ Angst 1, Injury / illness ⤥ Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice. 2, Last moments ⤥ You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words. 3, Depression ⤥ Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun. 4, Betrayed ⤥ You character has been betrayed by the other. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it. 13, Hurt you ⤥ You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though. 14, Separation ⤥ You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time. 15, Becoming a monster ⤥ You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you. 16, Frozen ⤥ You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster. 17, Prison ⤥ You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you. 18, Fear ⤥ You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. Y'know, most girls are smart enough not to follow the new guy into the woods alone after school lets out.

[It's thrown almost casually over his shoulder as he pushes another branch out of the way, holding it up for her to pass under, his other hand in the pocket of his hoodie. It was true - the only thing the students seemed to be whispering about was his name wherever he went, girls especially. Did they expect every new student to be some kind of mystery in this town? Moving here with his uncle hadn't exactly been something he'd wanted to do, but the...situation in the old town had called for it.

Still, he couldn't help but tilt his head as he watched her walk past him, eyebrow raised before he lowered the branch and took a couple of steps to catch up.]

For all you know I could be some kind of mass murderer or something, on the run from the law.

[ Rolling her eyes at him, Tooth made her way along after him, a quiet 'thank you' given in response to him holding the branch for her. Honestly, she'd heard everything that the other girls had said since he showed up in the school, but it wasn't as if it was anything new-- any new person, boy or girl, that seemed a little mysterious or strange? They would go on a roll, making up backstories and questions, each one more absurd than the last.

She turned, folding her arms behind her back and taking measured steps to make sure she didn't fall flat on her butt. ]

I highly doubt that. Besides, what if I was the mass murderer on the run from the law?

[He raised an eyebrow at her after sneaking a look at the branch out the corner of his eye, making a small face when he saw a couple of cracks in the end before he hurried along after her. Sometimes he really needed to remember to watch his strength.]

You? Please, you scream daddy's good little girl.

You never know.

[ She bowed forward towards him, keeping her balance carefully as she went along. If she noticed the cracks in the wood, she didn't comment on it. (Thankfully for Jack, she didn't notice.) ]

They do say you should always watch out for the quiet and the nice ones.

[He can't help but laugh a little at that, though the laughter is a bit on the dark side. It was true enough though - sometimes even the nicest of his kind could get nasty when provoked or hungry. Good thing he ate beforehand. He slid his hand into the pocket of his jacket, looking up at the treetops.]

True, true. Murder mysteries would be boring if people ran around town screaming they were the ones who did it.

[ She doesn't miss the tone of his laugh, or the expression on his face. But still she's not worried about being out here alone with him, even if she's following a feeling more than anything else. Really, she's not sure what to make of this in the least-- he's different, that's for sure. ]

Exactly. We're already one step ahead of everyone else with our common sense.

If only people had common sense to start with.

[He was definitely different, but she didn't know how much just yet. Jack gives a small sigh as he takes a languid step along a fallen log, looking almost like he's gliding along. After a moment or so of silence, he continues, looking at her.]

So...figured anything out yet?

Not everyone can be blessed with such important means for survival.

[ An unfortunate truth. But she watches him as he moves along, heel bumping into a root but taking care to stop before she trips over it. She's thankfully far from clumsy, but he looks like he should be walking on air. ]

Is this the part where I should ask if you sparkle in direct sunlight?

[ It's gentle teasing, but genuine curiosity towards him. ]

Darn, you figured me out.

[His tone is teasing, not indicating whether she would be right or wrong in that assumption. He lowered his hood from where it sat on his head, still sliding languidly along the log before he hopped off it, seeming to hover in mid air for a moment before his feet hit the forest floor.]

[ Stopping, Tooth rocks back on her heels and watches him with interest, perking as she watches him. She has to wonder what she's gone and gotten herself into, but she doesn't feel like she's at risk of getting hurt right now. He's not really trying to do anything to lull her into a false sense of security, or acting any differently from any normal person. ]

Oh dear, I'm not sure how healthy the skin of a killer can be for you.

Not healthy, I can tell you that much.

[He's not exactly lying to her but he's not exactly telling the truth either. Joking about it makes it easier to think he was about to tell someone the biggest secret of his life. He tilts his head at her, white hair falling to the side.]

How old do you think I am?

[ Tooth reaches a hand up, curling her fingers in one of the tufts close to her ear as she thinks about it. The joking is one thing, but the truth she's not so sure about. Aside from the fact that she would be right about something being different, there's just the fact that Jack would be trusting her with that. It's surprising, in its own way. ]

Couple hundred, maybe? You've aged well, either way.
