(no subject)

[Nepeta usually was not one to have much shame for the things she did. Nor was she one to have many regrets, but right now? She had ample amounts of both. She was trying to figure out why exactly she had thought that trying to woo Karkat in such a manner would work, but either way she looked at it, it was apparent that she hadn't really doing much thinking at all.

At this point she was pretty sure she would never be able to face him--or really, any troll now that what little dignity she had was completely and utterly obliterated. That's why she had neither left or cave, nor touched her tablet in over a week. Instead she kept herself curled up under a bunch of pelts, and try as she might Pounce could not get her to leave.

This was the only option left to her. A life as a complete and utter hermit.]

Holy fiddlesticks.

[He was in so much shock that he didn't even think to apologize for his foul language.]

Why? What would possess you to do something like that?

And so you thought accosting them naked was the better option?

[He doesn't even know what to say. Also he's sweating like crazy now.]

This is my fault. I should have never told you that story.

I knew how impressionable you are, how such a story might have affected you. I should have known better.

[He shakes his head.]

No matter. All that matters now is dealing with the aftermath. Tell me who it was.

Karkat? While normally I would be appalled by your taste, in this case it works in our favor. I do not believe he has told anybody about this incident, and nobody will miss a piece of low-b100ded trash, especially one as foul of temperament as he. I'll just go and e%ecute him, as is my right as a member of the aristocracy.

I assure you, I most certainly can. I know not what shade pumps through his veins, but it must be wretched indeed if he hides it so throughly. As his b100b100ded superior, me killing him is not only permissible, it's e%pected. And I should hope that you are not suggesting that I lack the necessary STRENGTH to do the deed.

[He places his hand on her shoulder. Very gently.]

Nepeta, this is for your own good. Can you imagine the scandal that would ensue if this became common knowledge? You would be a laughing stock. You would never be able to find a respectable matesprit.

The only way to be sure is to kill him.
