[He's starting to think years of getting tied up have finally taken their toll. Aizawa did it for three years whenever he broke rules and got ahead of himself. Villains will occasionally try to tie him down- not effectively, but they try.
So he's ordered a long, silk bondage sash. The ribbon feels nice against his skin- and now he needs to gather up the courage to actually ask Shouto to tie him up. He's sure Shouto won't laugh at him no matter what kink he brought into their bed room. It's just Izuku fighting against his embarrassment.
He's had the sash for a week before they both have the day off and he manages to ask about it- sort of.]
... Shouto, would you tie me up? I-In bed, I mean. You can say no!
[ All things considered, Shouto's pretty open to trying new things so long as consent is involved. And, considering further, he knows that Izuku is someone that is on the same page as him when it comes to that.
But he does have to pause for a second to process the question Izuku asks him, locking his phone again and looking up at him from where he's sitting and blinking once, very slowly. There's no judgment and no confusion or revulsion or anything, just. Turning that request over.
When he finally answers, he inclines his head a little. ]
[His face is bright red, but it tends to be whenever he asks for anything new in the bedroom. It's not as though anything goes badly here, he's just very easily flustered.
And once he hears the yes, there's a tiny wobbly smile.]
Th-Thank you! I- um- I already bought a ribbon you can tie me up with.
[ Rope tying and knotwork was something that Shouto learned on a whim, to help assist in the detainment of villains that he faced. It came in handy with Stain, and he couldn't always use his ice with the risk it posed of frostbite and hypothermia. So even before Izuku tells him he has something they can use, he's... formulating how to do it.
His thoughts screech to a halt, and have to reroute again, so it takes him another second. But he gets up from where he's seated, reaching to take Izuku's familiar hands into his. ]
You've been thinking about this for a while, haven't you. [ Obsessing and agonizing and running through everything, more like ]
[He knows very well that Shouto's good at knotwork. He's watched Shouto tie up plenty of villains with whatever they can find in recycling bins- Shouto's right, he has been considering this for quite a while before he brought it up.
Like everything he cares about, he over thinks it. Just like when he was weighing in on telling Shouto about his feelings or leaving them on the backburner- possibly forever. Just like then, he's glad he brought it up]
... A while now.
[There's softer smile as Shouto takes his hands. He ends up intertwining their hands and pulling them up to kiss.]
[ Rubbing his thumbs along the sides of Izuku's when he laces their fingers together, Shouto bows his head in towards him. It might seem like an unconventional request to anyone else, but to him, he knows Izuku. He knows that he thinks things through for a long, long time before he acts on them (when he doesn't act on impulse and heart, anyways). So a lot of consideration has gone into this.
And him, he's fine with going with instinct and meeting all that overthinking with a precise, clear cut thought. Because Izuku does the same for him, when he gets stuck in his head. ]
I love you, too. [ He dips his head just that bit closer, to bump their foreheads and noses together. ] I promise I'll take care of you.
[He leans in, closing the gap between them, and steals a kiss.]
I know you will. I trust you.
[Absolutely and completely. He knows Shouto's looking after his life just as much as Izuku's looking after his. The job comes first, but their lives are important too. Compared to that, this isn't too much of a jump.
It's just the trust needs to be... in bed instead of in the streets.]
[ At first, Shouto returns the kiss with one of his own, before he moves to the corner of his mouth, then his cheek. Physical affection is one thing that he's always happy to give, and to receive, when it comes to his relationship with Izuku. It's such a stark contrast to what he knew when he was younger, and it's something that he discovered he really needed.
They care about each other, and they'll always take care of each other. This is just an extension of that, in his opinion.
[He closes his eyes an accepts the affection- he loves this, he loves Shouto.
And he trusts him, it's the reason he's comfortable enough asking to be bound. Giving up control to Shouto, letting Shouto do whatever he wants with him- an anticipatory shiver runs down his spine.]
I will.
[He presses another kiss to Shouto's lips before disappearing for the ribbon. Once he's found it, he places it gently in Shouto's hands.]
