[ it's kind of nice to see miyuki in his uniform. this is the first time eijun's really seen it, and he peeks over his shoulder while he's pinning on his own badge and pulling his cap over his head. for him, it's routine--he's been a cop for six months now--but today's a new day.
miyuki's not the only one with something rolling in his stomach, but for eijun, it's excitement. he has a partner.
they've come a long way together, miyuki's status as something different unimportant in the face of their partnership, the way they work together. it's why he spots miyuki changing and then says-- ] Oh, wait wait wait!
[ whirling around, eijun scurries over towards him, pausing in front of miyuki's buttoned shirt. he swipes the black box eijun gave him yesterday off the table, opens it, and then holds out the badge.
he gives him a bright, sunshine grin. ] It's gotta be special, it's a big day!!
[ and like that, he leans in to pin his badge to his chest, smiling to himself as he gets in close and helps solidify the fact that they're partners. ]
