But then Momo begins to answer him, and Shouto immediately goes on point and turns the second he hears his name in a familiar voice. No one ever said he was original in his handle choices - his name is cool looking, anyways - so of course his friend looks particularly confused at first before he actually responds.
Because while the face might not be one he's seen before, he's heard that voice a lot over the past month. There's no offense, only actually visible surprise. ] Deku?

[Deku isn't exactly a cool looking name, but it's a play on his own name and he's just not exactly comfortable leaving his real name out there for anybody to find. So Deku, his childhood nickname, that Ochako's made him grow a certain fondness for.
And when Shouto repeats his screen name back to him, he's more startled. It is him, the Genji that's Izuku's grown attached to after playing with him so much, reliable and efficient and kind- always kind to him.]
Uh... I-I wasn't expecting to be in the same city as you. [Honestly, who expects something like that? The world is wide. Japan's big too, even if it doesn't have the sheer area that somewhere like the United States does.] Er- I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything! I wasn't, either. [ But he can't help but feel a little pleased, suddenly. He already knew they were the same age, and he didn't doubt Deku when they exchanged that much information, because it just... didn't seem like him, to catfish someone. And the fact Shouto thought that after just a month is probably something he should question.
Right now, though, he realizes that Momo is looking between the two of them with a keen, thoughtful eye. So he's quick to reassure, waving a hand. ] You're not - Yaoyorozu, can I meet up with you later?
[ When she gives him that smile, the one that's knowing and quiet and makes him always feel a little like she's realized something he hasn't, before excusing herself, Shouto's not sure if it's a good thing or not. ]
[They really hadn't known each other long, but there was such an easy chemistry between them- especially when they were working together. But talking to Shouto between games, he's started looking forward to that too.
And now they've finally met in person. Not because they've arranged it, but because of pure chance. It feels like a thousand and one chance, but here they are.
[ Without Momo there, Shouto's full attention goes to Izuku.
And - he gets his name. It's not just Deku, dependable, who can do anything. It's Midoriya Izuku, now, his Mercy that is more than just someone he plays with and goes to for healing and buffs. They're friends, for as briefly as they've known each other, and it's amazing that they've met here by chance.
He doesn't believe in fate or chance, really. But this can be the exception.
He even smiles back, especially without Momo there to observe them. ] Todoroki Shouto. It's nice to meet you, too. For real now.
[They haven't known each other for long, and honestly, he was expecting to never run into his Genji in real life. Not that he's complaining! Shouto's been nothing but kind ever since they ran into each other during a random game.
And that smile... it really lights up his features. It's not fair, aren't gamers supposed to be plain? Shouto could be a model if he wanted to. Izuku's sure of that.]
[ Most people online don't meet one another, not unless they schedule it somehow. Shouto has heard of people on Overwatch who have met up, with mixed results - good and bad alike, they've gone to conventions and meetups and simple "dates" alike, and it's common enough. But Shouto never thought he'd be one of those people.
