Loop two, Shouto contacts Kirishima. Bakugou hates this as much as he hates everything that they do, especially when he tries to tell them all the truth about Witches. Kirishima takes it in stride, Bakugou swears at him, Izuku frets and yet steels his determination. (Bakugou becomes a Witch. Kirishima goes down with him. Izuku lies to him, at the end, and uses a grief seed to purify his soul gem. Tells him to kill him. Shouto does. He resets.)
Loop three, Shouto has already stopped smiling. He fights alone, keeps Izuku from forming a contract with Kyuubey. Things are fine, mostly. He misses Izuku next to him in battle. (He can't defeat the Witch alone. Izuku forms a contract anyways. He becomes an even more powerful, destructive Witch. Shouto resets.)
It continues on, and on, and on like this, and each time Izuku forgets him. And each time, it breaks his heart a little more. Sweet, kind Izuku, who is clever and brave and giving, who befriends him every single timeline, who puts his life on the line every timeline, so that the world can live on when he does not. And Shouto - Shouto can't stand that thought.
So he resets, in some vain hope that he can give Midoriya Izuku a happier ending. One where the world is as bright and warm as he is, without him having to pay the ultimate price. Even if it means that Shouto suffers, watches the one person he loves most look at him like a stranger - ]
[Loop one, Izuku saved Shouto from submitting to a witch's will. They became friends. It was the best thing he ever did with his life, he regretted nothing. He used too much magic with nothing to purify his soul gem with. At least he stopped one witch.

Loop three, he can't stand hearing his best friend say that he wants to turn into a witch. Shouto deserves better than that, after everything. He presses the last grief seed he has against Shouto's soul gem, purifying it. He has a selfish desire, Shouto can go back in time, right? Stop him from being so foolish, from making mistakes like these. He dies comforted by the knowledge he won't become a witch.
Reset.
Loop four, he doesn't know Shouto well. He's kept his distance successfully. But Izuku still feels a tug towards him, a compulsion, something that makes him want to help. He sees him fail to fight a witch- he contracts so Shouto's not alone in that last fight. A magi who only lasts one battle- he's used up so much power his soul gem turns black.
Reset.
There's something kid of familiar about Shouto. He can't place his finger on it. Did he dream of him this morning? Still... it's kind of intimidating to be under Shouto's intense gaze. He quickly looks away, blush high on his cheeks.]
Oh- I'm Midoriya Izuku, sorry I forgot to introduce myself properly. I'm the nurse's aid so... I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other. Or maybe not?
[He was released from the hospital according to the teacher. But... It's not like Shouto looks particularly unhealthy? He's got a pretty athletic build when Izuku finally looks back at him.]
