[He shifts the suitcase under his arm, frowning in thought as he thinks that through. That…makes a scary amount of sense. He should have thought of that himself and he nods slowly.]
I'll keep that in mind. Things have been kinda busy lately so I've been making do with what we have. [No apology's needed. It's good work. No good work should need an apology. He opens his mouth to address something, but his cell phone suddenly breaks the silence with a loud chirp twice in a row. Fishing it out, he looks at the screen and that frown deepens, eyebrows furrowing together as his nostrils flare and he jams the phone back into his pocket.]
Yes, but not now. I gotta go. [There's a new problem in the city. A text from Honey alerted him to danger and asked him to book it back to SFIT. He couldn't stay here any longer than necessary.] Think about what I said though.
[And he doesn't even look back, turning on his heel and quickly walking out of the room. It's only when he thinks Kon can't see him that he immediately bolts into a run to get back to his moped.]
[ Tipping his head a little to acknowledge that - he gets it, he might not be a college student but he gets things being busy, understands that you can only do so much in the time you have even if you try to get more - Kon watches him closely when he pulls his phone out. It's probably a good thing the doors to everyone's rooms are always closed, otherwise they'd probably be a little screwed.
But it's his expression that gets his attention, and his eyes narrow slightly before he just - watches him go. He's not sure what the rush is, but there's definitely an emergency somewhere.
Quickly hopping up out of his seat, he waits one second, two, before he peeks outside and watches Hiro's back disappear down the hall, surprised when he sees how far he's gotten. Must be a rush, but whatever it is, it means he can leave, too. So he gets his things, and closes his door behind him as he heads in the opposite direction.
He does think about what he said. In the end, though, Kon decides he's got better plans that shouldn't be derailed because of the famous Hiro Hamada. ]
