[ well, that's nice. kuramochi gets a good look at ryousuke as he pulls away, at the way the morning late makes this feel holy, makes 'soulmates' seem way more than an abstract concept that was once kissed across his spine. it's not that he doesn't believe in them--well, he didn't, before, because he used to be bitter and cranky at just about any cute couple wandering around in the streets, because where was his. but now, his happens to be here, and his has been here all along. ryousuke does terrifying things and all youichi can think is, i'd go to jail if that's what it meant to help you.
he'd do anything for the person underneath him right now, anything. groveling to keep from death is not really that bad, because for 95% of the time, kuramochi youichi somehow got in kominato ryousuke's good graces. made him respect him. made him (maybe) fall in love with him, too.
youichi sure knows he loves him, death from tickling included or not. he kisses him with a tenderness that isn't visible on his usual demeanor, with a warmth and passion, ends up keeping his hands on his cheeks and sweeping his thumbs across his cheekbones. ]
[ Finally, finally, Ryousuke relaxes completely underneath Kuramochi. He slides one arm over his shoulder, hooking it so that he can comb his fingers into the back of his ridiculous hair and cradle the back of his head in the kiss. Despite the fact that he's absolutely going to inflict some sort of punishment on him, until he gets an appropriate level of grovelling, it's... probably going to be much lighter than typical, given this form of appeasement. Because he's all sharp edges, danger packed into a deceiving form, but for whatever brutality that makes him less angelic than the rest of his cohort he's made something softer underneath Kuramochi Youichi's touch.
Before he'd run into him, he never wanted his soulmate. He had no interest in finding them, no desire to understand what so many others had talked about, no interest in spending lifetime after lifetime looking for them. After he lost Kuramochi the first time, he'd almost said fuck it, because feeling so complete, so loved, and then losing it all?
Was it worth it? Would it ever be?
Right now, he thinks it is. So Ryousuke kisses him, tentatively putting that emotion into it. It's still difficult for him to feel vulnerability, but like this - pinned down by Kuramochi's weight, blanketed in warmth with rough hands contrasted by a delicate touch, it's a little easier. ]
