[Well it had been a good two or so weeks since...'Ling' had come into her house. She was beginning to wonder if giving him that name had really been a good idea. In fact sometimes she wondered if it had been a good idea to create him to begin with, at least in his image, but there was little she could do about that now.

It was a rainy day, and she wasn't particularly feeling up to doing any tinkering today so she was divested of her usual lab coat and instead just in a white tank and shorts. The house seemed unusually quiet, something it hadn't been since Ling appeared, so she made her way over to his room and gave a knock]

Ling?

[Winry is still sleep too, body angled back and resting against the wall. When Ling sits up though, she stirs a bit herself and slowly starts to come to. She blinks a bit blearily, rubbing the sleep from her eyes before looking at him with a slightly dazed expression, before she recalls what happened.

She immediately goes on full alert.]

Ling are you, are you okay?

[Ling is looking down at himself and at his hands. He touches his face a bit and then looks straight at Winry.]

...Winry?

[that look on his face, the gesture, and his tone makes her tense a bit, but she's more collected now, thankfully]

[That statement was so unexpected that she just starts a bit at first, looking at him wide-eyed]

[wait wait wait something isn't adding up here. She drops her hand and looks at Ling, biting her lip]

Um. [she. Can kind of guess why the remark would come from him, but she still doesn't want to let herself hope for the impossible. Could this really be Ling? Things seem to point to it but...]

[and still she's quiet, though she's look at him with a decidedly different expression and after a moment reaches to touch him, as if she expects him to disappear on contact]
