Honestly, the only reason he'd register anything is if it was a Kaiju attack and it meant drifting with Stiles again. This moment is practically on the same level as the drift, and it's the single thing that would get him moving.

[ This-- this is part of the reason why he'd never been able to click with anyone after Paige. When you drifted with someone, you shared everything with them.
