Which is why she was spending more time out and about with people, like today on a chilly fall afternoon in Diagon Alley. She was of course still in her usual sweater get-up, with the biggest difference being her hair was just a hair different, all nice and braided. Mabel had just finished some shopping for the week and was making one last round to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. For some odd reason, she had some weird feeling, maybe it was a bit of a hunch or something, but someone... familiar was nearby. Oh well, it was probably just that feeling she got once in a while when she missed them a lot.]

Having Dipper and Norman's encouragement had helped, too, but despite the contact maintained with them and the occasional letter from Mabel he... well, he wouldn't lie and say he didn't miss Mabel. God, that would be an awful lie. He'd supported her journey of discovery, but that didn't mean there wasn't a sweater shaped void in his life while she was gone.
So, spotting someone familiar in Diagon Alley had him double-taking, before a wide grin spread across his face and he came up as quickly and as quietly as he could to gently cover her eyes with gloved hands. ]

Her first reaction to the pair of hands over her eyes was to tense up, about to strike out at whoever the owner was, thankfully when Mabel heard Raz's voice, she quickly abandoned that idea, because oh god did she miss him as well.]

[Right after saying that and basically giving Raz his only warning, Mabel spun around and threw her arms around him, practically burying herself into him. God, she missed him.]

But it would've been worth it then, as was the crushing pain in his ribs that came with a 'Mabear hug.' He laughed as she untensed and lunged at him, keeping his arms up until she was positioned before he just opted to pick her up a bit against his chest and return the squashing hug. ]
Hey, who would I be if I were to deny a Mabear hug? I think my supplies have been running low for ages anyways.
[ Seeing her was a whole hell of a lot more satisfying and relieving than just seeing her letters, Merlin. ]
