All my little plans and schemes, lost like some forgotten dream.

Death City had been blessed with a beautiful day, today. The shone on as it always did, but not quite as harshly, and a nice westerly breeze wound its way throughout the streets. The Nocturne Bazaar was visiting the city once again and was as usual position a good distance from the city. Rise eyed it from her spot on the balcony, remembering how much fun it had been the last time it had come around. How long ago had that been? Over a year. It was hard to believe she had been in this place for that long. Death City had long ago began to feel like home in ways Inaba had never quite been--or really, any place back in her world.

Sure there was a war going on, but in the past half year or so it had slowly been turning in their favor and in the recent months Death City had become completely impenetrable, and a place of absolute safety. It was almost hard to believe this was the same place that got smacked again and again when she had first arrived.

She let out a content sigh, eyes still on the floating island when she decided that today was too nice a day and too full of opportunities to waste cooped up inside. She spun on her heel and danced on over to her partner's room, and without a word of warning burst in.

"Hey Ed, hey Ed, hey Ed!" she called excitedly.
