[ christmas town! christmas town! haruich is really, really really excited about going to visit. finally. it was true, ryousuke needed him around the house as much as possible to help prepare for halloween, but there was a month between halloween and christmas, and the abominable snowman himself has gained permission to take haruichi down to see christmas town for real. haruichi's been listening to stories about it now for a while, petting furuya's hair and asking him questions about it while he moved his stirrer with a magical finger from a distance--the whole thing just seemed so...so magical.
admittedly, he's not sure if it'll compare to his current 'assistant'-slash-frequent houseguest. furuya is around all the time now, and haruichi really, really likes his company, whether he's a big lump of white fur snuggled up against his feet when the crisp october wind blows through the shutters or a person peering curiously over his shoulder when he's mixing potions or casting spells. he obviously didn't get along well in christmas town because he was, well, scary--a monster of sorts, though there was nothing wrong with that, a fact that haruichi and the rest of halloweentown would all argue. ("delightful!" they'd said, "we haven't had an abominable in years!") but if haruichi has the chance to share his home with him as much as possible, he's touched that furuya's willing to share his, too.
the fall is a little strange, and he ends up holding onto furuya's hand a little too tight as they drop into the snow, which--haruichi has literally never experienced before. he gasps, half delighted as his butt drops in the snow-- ] Ah--cold!
